Clematis is a plant that can be found in almost any suburban area. It is unpretentious, takes up little space, and some varieties of vines can reach a height of more than 3 m. Breeders are working on breeding new varieties, so now their diversity will surprise even the most sophisticated grower.

Among the variety of varieties, it is difficult to say which are the best. Some will like early flowering with small flowers, someone wants to decorate their garden with large-flowered, autumnal species. But there are varieties that are the most frequently bought and popular among gardeners.

Clematis Ashva is a stunted vine with a height of not more than 2 m.

During one growing season, about a hundred buds can appear on ashva vines. Inflorescences are large, bright and of various colors. They can be white, pink, purple or raspberry.

This is a plant that grows well and blooms luxuriantly only in good light. In the shade, all these processes slow down.

The flowers are large, bright, rounded. Each has five petals. In the middle of each of them is a contrasting vertical strip.

Flowering occurs from the beginning of summer and lasts until mid-autumn. They belong to group C, i.e. annually needs pruning.

Clematis Nelly Moser is one of many hybrids. It was developed back in the 19th century in France.

Lianas are long, grow to 3.5 m. It is famous for the formation of a large number of shoots per season. Refers to clematis of group B, i.e. budding occurs both on new shoots and last year. But last year's buds appear earlier.

The first flowering occurs in June, the second in July. Until the end of August, flowering is especially magnificent. Sometimes flowers continue to appear later, but not by a bright carpet, but separately.

A large-flowered variety, the length of the buds is up to 17 cm, and the blossoming flowers with a diameter of 20 cm with proper care and good weather conditions. In one flower, 6-8 ellipsoid petals, sepals 9-12 cm.

The color of the inflorescences is pinkish, almost white, with a bright pink vertical stripe in the middle of each petal.

Important! Since this hybrid belongs to group B, pruning should not be cardinal. Otherwise, flowering for the next year may not occur.

Liana Knyazhik is a very close relative of clematis, so they are assigned to one of the clematis groups - the Knyazhiki. They can become a real decoration of the garden.

These are perennial vines that can live in one place for up to 15 years. Their stems are lignified, but they cling to the support due to special petioles located on the leaves.

The flowers have the shape of bells, diameters up to 10 cm. Their colors are rarely bright, often calm pinkish or lilac shades. Sometimes they are blue. The height of the vine, depending on the variety, is 2-4 m.

Clematis De Busho is a liana, which in nature can reach a height of 4 m, and in Central Russia, including the Moscow Region, no more than 3 m.
